Hope this helps - pls let ma know if you need some more help with anything. The thing is if the main applicaiton didn't exist and the guys behind it - working to actually create something instead of just shouting out loud the mentioned above would be hanging out at someone else's door looking for some blood to suck. The best thing to guess this tool has future is the large number of fake profits trying to make profit shouting out loud how bad things are and how third party tools should be bought to make things right, extra VIP communities formed and so on It has some limitations and a few edges to polish but it evolves by the hour. Personally I m with the project from back in v2 and I love it. Not making any advertisments here but I think if there is one thing you are willing to pay for - that's the Code Editor - its panel looks pretty much like this:Īnd if you look around you'll find quite a few cool stuff and examples how to expend your Builder's capabilities and implement whatevr with it. You can use the free and all the rest themes just as good without it - you just won't have access to the code, but you'll be able to insert blocks, edit them, publish and whatever. What you can do is create all kinds of custom blocks including Properties Panels controlling them in v4.įor that purpose along with just tweaking your markup and CSS the Code Editor ix used. M3 can be opened and edited by Mobirise Builder v4 just like with v3 however stil you can't switch blocks between them. Regarding the names - basically the number behind the M stands for the version of the main program for which the theme has been created - like m3 are v3 themes and m4 - you've guiessed it - v4 ![]() I suppose they can be both used for that changing blocks between each other - haven't tried it yet tough - will probably in a few days. The AMPs are a different story since the AMP project uses a bit different code itself - not a regular HTML so if you like the pages clreated to be verified as AMP (accelerated mobile pages) later on you need to use blocks form the AMPs only. So since the blocks have been written differently in v3 making them v4 compatible pretty much means recreating them from the scratch The reason for this is the advance in the approach the blocks are baing composed the the v4 applicaiton - handling them. When it comes to the v3 themes - that's not exactly so - each v3 theme is a separate pack of blocks you can use to create a website with but you can't intercahnge blocks between v3 themes as well you can't insert v3 blocks into a v4 theme. ![]() In order to do it you just need to save the block you like as user block and then - reinsert it in any of the other themes so - they are fully compatible with each other. Hi the v4 themes marked as M4 are fully compatible with each other, yep! You can use the blocks from each one into all the rest of them.
